These are some photos of the POKOT people, also known as the SUK, who live in this area of Kenya.
West Pokot (and East Pokot) are bordered by Uganda in the west, the Turkana in the North, the Samburu in the East and the Kalenjin in the South.






The trials and tribulations of organising and running a field trip to East Africa. The trip will run from the end of May to the beginning of June 2009. During the 10 days, 30 secondary students from Stalham High School in Norfolk, UK and accompanying staff will visit Lake Nakuru National Park and Marich Pass Field Studies Centre in West Pokot as well as the Masai Mara National Reserve. It also includes some ir/relevant rantings and ravings.
